No smelting. No refining. Just a smarter process.
By eliminating these costly and highly polluting steps, we are considerably reducing the overall cost of copper-wire production while putting millions of tonnes of copper scrap currently unsuitable for electrical use. Our technology paves the way for fully circular and cost-effective copper-wire production, an essential piece of the global energy transition.
We have raised our first round of funding from leading investors, secured strong interest from large commercial offtakers, and demonstrated that we have a way of boosting the world's production of recycled copper.

About the role: Commercial Strategy Associate
We’re looking for a Commercial Strategy Associate to take full ownership of Recupere’s strategic commercial analysis, unpicking Europe’s copper supply chain, working with suppliers and offtakes to drive discovery and analysis and driving leads to secure future customers.
You’ll play a pivotal role in increasing the transparency of Europe’s copper recycling process and driving customer leads for Recupere – turning conversations with key supply chain stakeholders into revenues.
You will be working closely with the CEO, an experienced deep-tech operator, to drive this aspect of the business.
Contract: CDI (permanent)
Location: One of the following talent hubs – Paris, Lyon, Geneva
Language: English fluency required. French is a strong plus.
Your responsibilities
Lead Strategic Commercial Analysis
- Take full ownership of analyzing Europe's copper supply chain.
- Identify commercial opportunities through data-driven market insights.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work directly with copper suppliers and offtakers to gather intelligence.
- Build and nurture relationships to unlock new commercial insights.
Customer Acquisition
- Translate stakeholder conversations into qualified leads.
- Drive customer discovery efforts to support business growth.
Market Transparency
- Increase visibility into the copper recycling process in Europe.
- Develop insights that improve transparency for stakeholders and customers.
Collaboration with Leadership
- Work closely with the CEO to shape and implement strategic priorities.
- Provide analytical support for executive decision-making.
Revenue Enablement
- Use strategic insights to convert market opportunities into revenue streams.
- Support business development efforts through informed targeting.
Ideal background
- Ex-strategy or management consultancy background
- Understanding of the copper, metals, recycling, or broader raw materials space would be valuable
- Experience mapping complex supply chains, especially in a European context
- Hands-on experience driving commercial discovery, lead generation, or customer segmentation
- Ability to translate market analysis into actionable business development strategies
- Experience interfacing with external partners (suppliers, customers, regulators)
- Ability to build trust and communicate clearly across functions and seniority levels
- Strong quantitative analysis and market research skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environment
- Fluent English is a must; French is a strong plus
- Willingness to work from Paris, Lyon, or Geneva
