About the startup
🎯 We are revolutionizing Direct Air Capture (DAC) by developing a unique electrochemical process 10x more energy efficient than first generation and 3x better than the most ambitious second generation technologies. At scale, we estimate the cost to be well below $100/ton, unlocking the potential of DAC at scale, and paving the way towards Net-Zero emissions.
🚀 The startup was co-founded by Silvia Pugliese, PhD, and Mónica Larrazábal
Silvia is a scientist and inventor at heart. During her MSc in chemistry she invented a methane capture & conversion technology and co-founded her first climate deep tech startup. During her PhD, she worked on developing an artificial leaf that could convert CO2 into useful products. She became part of Marble, a climate tech venture studio, with the mission to revolutionize DAC, leading to the origination of the start-up.
Mónica is a mechanical engineer and strategist passionate about scaling breakthrough climate solutions. After working at McKinsey & Company and earning an MBA from MIT, she spent years shaping commercialization strategies across multiple carbon removal startups. As a co-founder, she is now fully committed to disrupting the Direct Air Capture industry.

About The Role
We are looking for a mission-driven intern, you will be the “right hand” to the CEO, contributing to the strategic growth and operational efficiency of the startup. This role requires a dynamic individual fluent in both French and English, and possessing a keen understanding of the climate tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
💫 Funding & Strategy
- Support fundraising and grant efforts: track relevant grant opportunities, contribute to applications, and assist in due diligences.
- Co-develop strategic materials for investors and internal decision-making: financial modeling, budgets, decks, and data rooms.
🌱 Daily operations
- Partner closely with the CEO to manage priorities, schedules, external communications, and provide thorough administrative support.
- Identify and implement improvements to internal processes and workflows.
👥 Hiring pipeline
- Co-manage the recruitment process: manage the pipeline, coordinate interviews, ensure a smooth candidate journey.
- Lead outbound sourcing campaigns and collaborate on employer branding.
📊 Market research & Insights
- Conduct deep-dive analysis and modeling on industry trends, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
- Spot strategic technical, commercial and ecosystem partnerships.
Ideal Background(s)
- Fluent in both French and English, with excellent communication & writing skills.
- Keen understanding of the startup environment - previous experience in a fast-paced positions valued (high-growth start or scale-up, VC, PE, consulting…).
- Solution-oriented thinker with strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to leverage online productivity and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with the climate deeptech sector is a huge plus!
