Job Summary

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a key role in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of our next-generation reactors. Working hand-in-hand with our engineering team, you’ll bring our designs to life and help ensure the performance and reliability of our technology. This full-time position offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the development of breakthrough climate solutions within a fast-paced deep-tech environment.


Main Responsibilities

  • Reactor Assembly & System Integration 🧩

    • Participate in the fabrication, assembly, and integration of mechanical components and subsystems.

    • Ensure that builds comply with technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

  • Maintenance & Technical Improvements 🔧

    • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.

    • Work closely with engineers to implement design modifications and technical upgrades.

  • Workshop Operations & Supply Management 🧰

    • Support inventory management and procurement of parts, tools, and materials.

    • Ensure a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.

  • Technical Testing & Validation 🧪

    • Set up and run performance tests on prototype systems and components.

    • Record, analyze, and report results to support ongoing optimization and system validation.


Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong practical mindset, technical skills, and enthusiasm for hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced, deep-tech environment.

  • Degree (BTS, DUT, or Licence) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrotechnics, Industrial Fabrication, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in assembling or building complex systems is a strong asset.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics.

  • Confident using workshop tools and equipment.

  • Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving technical challenges.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Additional Assets 💡

Experience in thermal systems, chemical processes, or industrial prototyping would be a plus. Additionally, fluency in French ****is appreciated.


Conditions

  • 📄 Contract: Full-time (”CDI”)

  • 🏢 Location: Campus Air Liquide, Les Loges-en-Josas (France)

  • 💰Compensation: Salary starting from €35K gross annual, adjusted according to experience + bonus.
