About Marble

Marble is a climate tech venture studio. Our north star is to erase billions of tons from annual greenhouse gas emissions and create a thriving future.

We partner with scientists, engineers and operators to create new deep tech companies that solve hard climate problems — slash emissions, remove carbon from the atmosphere, and cool the planet — while reshaping multi-billion $ industries.

We're proud to be backed by leading climate investors across Europe and the US.

About The Role

We are hiring a Programme Analyst to join the Marble team and support the delivery of our climate tech venture creation programme. You will make sure everything runs smoothly across all programme operations, events and founder experience.

You will work directly with Partners, senior team members, and brilliant founders on a mission to turn the tide on the climate crisis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with some of the brightest and most mission driven individuals you’ll meet!

You will also get direct exposure to company functions, across thesis development, sourcing, founder support, investment decisions, etc.

Location: Paris.

Language: English and French fluency required.

Responsibilities

The Programme Analyst role involves:

  • Founder experience. You will co-ordinate multiple activities aimed to deliver an outstanding experience of our Founders in Residence: onboarding, curriculum and resource library development, and helping them get unstuck whenever necessary
  • Programme operations. You will make sure the programme runs smoothly, coordinating programme schedule, events, off-sites, travel, relocation support, day-to-day operations
  • Events & community. You will coordinate our meetups, webinars, and other events we organise as Marble and with our network in the climate tech ecosystem.
  • Special projects. You will support the launch of new Marble initiatives, across events, policy, industry collaborations, programme evolutions, etc

Requirements

The Programme Analyst role is ideal for an early career candidate with a passion for climate tech, startups, and venture programmes:

  • You have a Masters degree from a top school, with ideally a major or specialisation in entrepreneurship, venture capital, or climate tech.
  • You have a first experience (e.g. internship, first job, other) working in a startup environment, such as venture backed startup, studio, accelerator, venture fund, or related.
  • You are fluent in English and French (one of them is your native language).

Your ability to learn on the job is more important than ticking every single box. However we would especially love to hear from you if this sounds like you:

  • You actively seek ownership. You are the first to put your hand up if help is needed.
  • You are outcome focused, action oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity. You can pick up tasks and projects from start to finish.
  • You have outstanding organisational skills.
  • You are a great communicator, across writing, deck building and presenting.
  • You excel at building and managing relationships.
  • You are familiar with modern tools: Slack, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, office, etc.
  • You are a people person. You are approachable, empathetic and generous, with a high level of emotional intelligence. People feel energised around you.
  • You have a passion for learning about the many specialist fields involved in climate tech.
  • You are a pragmatic optimist with a driving motivation to mitigate climate change.

What We Offer

  • Full-time (CDI) contract
  • Competitive compensation (salary + participation in portfolio returns)
